The extensive experience of the principals of the company in the fields of fiber optics, electronic circuitry, power supplies and mechanical design have equipped LUMINOS with the practical knowledge required to achieve their goals. The principals of the company a father and son team of Steve Harman (Director of Research and Development) and Murray Harman (President) hold over 20 patents to their credit. Having come from companies as JDS Uniphase and Nortel Networks the principals have more than 45 years combined experience in this industry.

Based on a leverage flexure and deep understanding of the optical industry the founders of LUMINOS have built a company where innovation and a striving for excellence go hand in hand with providing excellent value to LUMINOS customers. LUMINOS produces Optical Switches, Positioning and Alignment products, Fiber Handling Tools and associated accessories.
